About this service
dino.vin (“we”, “us”) operates dino.vin and sells vehicle history reports compiled from federal and commercial vehicle records. By using the site or buying a report you accept these terms.
Pricing & payment
Reports are sold as one-time digital products at the price shown at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe — we do not store your card details. Stripe processes the transaction under its own Terms of Service.
What the report is — and isn't
Reports are informational only. They aggregate data from third-party providers and we don't guarantee completeness or freedom from errors.
Reports are not Consumer Reports under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and may not be used for employment, credit, insurance, tenant screening, or any other FCRA-covered decision. The vehicle history data is intended to help individual consumers research a vehicle before buying it.
Refunds
See the full Refund Policy. Briefly: full refund within 30 days if the report data is materially incorrect.
Acceptable use
You may use reports for personal vehicle research only. You may not:
- Automate, scrape, or bulk-extract data from the site
- Resell, redistribute, or relicense report contents
- Use reports for any FCRA-covered decision
- Use reports to harass or stalk any individual
One report is licensed to one buyer.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to a report is capped at the amount you paid for that report. We don't accept liability for decisions you make based on report content, for indirect or consequential damages, or for inaccuracies in the underlying third-party data.
Account and data handling
We don't require accounts. Your email is collected by Stripe at checkout and used to deliver the report link. Lookup and report data is retained for 7 days (free preview) or 90 days (paid report). See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of the updated terms.
